Village of Hope Niagara rolls electric
Food pickups and deliveries by Village of Hope Niagara volunteers have become a lot less noisy.
Thanks to $78,200 in funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation the Lincoln (Jordan Station) non-profit organization recently acquired a silent-running electric service van that will be used to support their busy food bank.
“It goes toward sustainability,” said Village of Hope Niagara CEO Cheryl Keddy-Scott. “It’s going to be a huge asset to the Village of Hope Niagara that we can put the dollars back into the food bank.”
