"Theatre In The Vineyard" evening – A Benefit in Honour of Darlene Mowat

Last night at Harbour Estates Winery (Saturday June 22) their "Theatre In The Vineyard" evening – A Benefit in Honour of Darlene Mowat welcomed guests and raised funds, with 100% of net proceeds benefiting Village of Hope Niagara. An organization Darlene loved.
The evening began at 5pm with a Cheers to Darlene Sparkling Wine Reception, then a wonderful dinner from 6-8pm culminating with the play "Love Letters" by A.R. Gurney. Presented by Theatre Bacchus. There was a Silent Auction and Reverse Raffle also.
A.R. Gurney’s "Love Letters" is a tender, tragi-comic, and nuanced examination of the shared nostalgia, missed opportunities, and deep closeness of two lifelong, complicated friends.
We're grateful to have been present, participated, and for the event to have raised funds, benefiting all of our community. We're certain Darlene would have been delighted too, and we miss her. Thank you so much Harbour Estates Winery for a wonderful evening.
