Thank you Lincoln for making August 26 SummerShare Food & Funds Drive a Community Success

Thank you Lincoln for making our SummerShare Food & Funds Drive a Success for the community once again.

Village of Hope Niagara extends our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers, and multitude of individual and group donors who made our PORCH PICKUP FOOD DRIVE in Lincoln (Vineland-Jordan), August 26 — one of our most successful SummerShare Food and Funds Drives ever – we're certain to tally past our goal, and food donations are sure to tip the scale, supporting our ability to serve our neighbours well into the autumn. The near term outlook for provision of sustainable assistance to our neighbours in need is very hopeful – and we're so grateful to this community, because the need is great, and without signs of slowing. Thank you to all who contributed, each in your own way. It takes a Village...

August Is "Harvest of Hope" month at Village of Hope Niagara. We're raising funds, support, and awareness of food insecurity in our community, to alleviate hunger, where 1 in 6 among our neighbours (1 in 5 children) are going without each month, - skipping meals, and missing nutrition. When children, seniors, whole families in our community are affected, we're all impacted.
