We're bringing families back to the table with our autumn Harvest of Hope. Again we're providing over 400 family food hampers, and 140 seniors food hampers with all the trimmings for Thanksgiving meals for our neighbours in need, in addition to our regular programs and services. This is all made possible by your donations — please share, if you're able to.

Thanksgiving is a time of abundance for many, and of scarcity and hardship in our community, for too many. Please share your blessings of the season with those in our community who do not have enough to eat, and whose shelter is fragile.

Funds donations of any amount can be made safely and conveniently online at our secure site https://villageofhopeniagara.org/donateWe gratefully accept credit, debit, e-transfer, and cash and cheques also, made payable to Village of Hope Niagara, 2540 South Service Road, Lincoln, Ontario L0R 1S0. In person donations can also be made with debit or credit. Tax receipts are issued for all financial donations.

Harvest of Hope is our Annual Thanksgiving time of sharing and caring, for our neighbours in need. During Harvest of Hope, we come together, as a community of compassion, with empathy and generosity, for our neighbours. Our volunteers are making Harvest Hampers for a Thanksgiving of Hope. Through your donations of food and funds to Village of Hope Niagara, your generosity provides food security, programs of support and empowerment, and hope to those who need.

It takes a Village . . . serving our community of Lincoln!

“ Last week, I was told to go see Village of Hope Niagara for help with my hydro bill. Lived in Vineland my entire life, my kids go to local school. Embarrassed to even send my kids to school in case someone heard we were living in dark. Joe called and advocated for me and by next day! Lights were on!!! Thank you Joe and Village of Hope Niagara ”

Village of Hope Niagara's Education Assistance Program recipients have now been selected. Each will receive a bursary of up to $750. The selected applicants will be continuing their post-secondary education at an Ontario school. We wish them every success on their learning path.

A past Bursary recipient says thank you. "I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as a recipient of the Village of Hope Niagara Scholarship. This will be so helpful in the offset of some textbooks and supplies and keep my mind at ease that I have what I need to succeed. I am most grateful for your belief and support, and I would like to thank you for choosing me. Thank you, Emily"

We're grateful for the support of all of our donors who make this, and all programs of Village of Hope Niagara possible. You make our community a Village of Hope ...more than just a food bank.

I thank Village of Hope Niagara so much for helping me be able to continue my education. I had three general education courses that made it seem I was never going to get my diploma due to the cost, and they made it possible for me. Thank you.

This year Niagara This Week's Readers' Choice has no Lincoln/Grimsby area. Lincoln/Grimsby residents can vote for Village of Hope Niagara in St. Catharines category. Nominations are now open until August 25. We invite and encourage everyone to nominate us again for this year's Readers' Choice. The voting period will open sometime following the close of nominations. It's a welcome recognition to win (as we did in 2023 and 2024), and enhances our visibility, raising awareness of the need and of the work we do to serve in our community, especially for those in the community who may not be aware that hope is near. Your recognition of the work we do in our community would mean the world to us, our volunteers, and our “neighbours in need”. Thank you all so much.

I registered today at Village of Hope Niagara. I had no money, hydro disconnected, went with so much hesitation and embarrassment. I spent over an hour there, VoHN reconnected my hydro, help me plan a budget and filled my fridge with food. My 3 children received all new knapsacks and supplies. Words don't even begin to say Thank You. As a resident in Beamsville for over 22 years, it's nice to know we have somewhere to turn when we need it most.

Thank you once again for this wonderful recognition. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact, and contribute to our community.

“Thank you to everyone at Village of Hope Niagara. As a Dad of 3 young children, with a loving wife, it was devastating to walk into your charity and admit we hadn't eaten anything for over a day. I hardly got the words out and volunteers were taking us to the food room. We went from feeling like failures, deflated, to having hope that someone cares.”

Make It Monthly - You can make a very large impact in our community with a small monthly donation, and our page makes that very simple…

When made monthly, 50 cents a day, a dollar a day or what you're able to donate, sustains our programs and enables us to assist Lincoln families through difficult times. We're the bridge that keeps their lights on, keeps them in their shelter, and with food in their fridge. Join our High Hopes club as a monthly donor, and help us help our neighbours.

We are community/donor-supported, volunteer-centred, proudly local, and a nationally recognized organization with Charitable Registration Number 835825399RR0001 – Receipts are issued for tax-deductible donations.

“No words can express how thankful I am as a single Mom in Vineland with 3 small children to have the support of Village of Hope. Many days I worried about putting food on the table for my kids. Village of Hope provides us with a food delivery every 2 weeks including fresh. Thank you so so much.”

“Thank you Village of Hope Niagara, for taking the time to come to my house and deliver food to Beamsville. With 3 young children, no car, and husband gone, I felt so deflated till I called you. So so thankful our community has Village of Hope Niagara.”
